Today was our first full day in Munich. We started off with a bus tour around the city. We were able to see stunning palaces and federal buildings, and we all made sure to take many pictures. When the bus stopped we were able to roam around the center of the city to find something for lunch. After much anticipation we all finally got to try some German ice coffee,which includes vanilla ice cream in the coffee.
After lunch we drove a little out of the city to the concentration camp Dachau. It was a sobering experience for everyone, but overall it enriched our knowledge of history.
When we returned to Munich we had small walking tour and everyone enjoyed fresh fruit from the market along the way. Today we were all able to get fuller sense of the city, Munich.
